The Powell Family’s portraits blew us away! Literally. The day we met with them, the wind was ripping and tearing up the mountainsides so fast that we thought we’d fly away! In between the gusts and tucked in the protective coverings of tree-lined rivers, however, Clark captured magical mountain portraits.
Steve and Dana’s oldest daughter flew in for only a few days on break from college, so we knew this was our only chance to get the portraits they wanted. With a little bit of patience (and a lot of driving), we found some fantastic locations. The soft charcoal color palette they wore pulled out cool tones from the mountains and rivers, and complimented everyone.
With their younger two children on the doorsteps of college and the oldest across the country, these portraits are more meaningful than ever. These perfect little moments underneath the big Montana sky will keep everyone together forever
