Oh goodness, where do we even start with the Meyer Family!? They’ve become very dear to us over the last several years (we’ve taken senior portraits of all four of their kids), and they’re just sweet as could be. Their oldest son was in town for a short time between stations in the military, and the timing was perfect to update family portraits.
On a gorgeous day over summer, we met on the Stillwater River. The water babbled softly behind as we set up. Everly (the grandbaby) explored through the grass and trees as the siblings talked about plans for the day and joked about the drive over, Mike and Alice took turns beaming over Everly and laughing with their kids.
Their blue palette matches perfectly at the river, looking like just the right amount of relaxed-meets-dressy. Beyond the family, the bank curves, adding depth, texture, and an iconic Montana feeling. Rudi made sure to capture breakouts of everyone, taking particular time to get Everly with her mom, and with her proud grandparents.
We have so much fun every time we see the Meyer family, and we’re just delighted we could help create such precious images for them! As their family grows and changes, they’ll always have these little moments where everyone is together.
