Based now in the Seattle area, Travis and Dawn have roots in Montana. On the day of their session, we also took their daughter Olivia’s senior portraits, so it was especially important to make time on the Stillwater with the family while everyone was together.
Their light shirts are only further complimented by the scenery around them, and they appear unified without being exact matches to each other. With incredible depth around the bend of the Stillwater River, clouds rolling off behind them, and peeks of sunlight glistening on the water, this family portrait captures the very essence of a Montana summer. Clark worked quickly to accommodate the changing light as the sun glimpsed in and around the clouds, and his results are spectacular.
As new towns become familiar, new semesters start, and new memories of made, Travis, Dawn, and their children will always have a little piece of Big Sky Country to call theirs.
