Class of 2019 – Ethan

“We brought his telescope” is not a sentence that we hear very often at the studio. In fact, we can’t remember the last time someone said that to us! Until, of course, class of 2019 senior Ethan met with us for his senior portraits. When we heard that, we knew our time with him would be special.

Outdoors, we wandered around the rimrocks while learning about travel to the sun, black holes, and Ethan’s future college plans. In one of his outdoor portraits, he pauses for just a moment to gaze off as the clouds move across the horizon.

Indoors, though, was really something special. His main wall portrait features something close up, a bit different than our traditional senior portraits. If a picture is worth a thousand words, his portrait says them all at once. From the curl of his fingers to the determined confidence in his eyes, this portrait unmistakably captures the very nature of Ethan. His telescope brings an academic air to his panel. Armed with ambition and a thirst for discovery, this collection of portraits showcases what he loves most and where his life will lead.

We had an amazing time getting to know Ethan, and these portraits were an honor to create. As he moves forward in life and transitions from high school into college, we know he’ll go as far as he dreams.
